HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week in January 2011

HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter, will take place during 17-20 January 2011 at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center to present the world with the latest trends of the fashion industry and a prominent wealth of business opportunities. The fair, which is also the 2nd largest fashion fair in the world, is expected to gather about 1,700 suppliers of garments, accessories and fashion related products from around the world.


The fashion week is sectioned into eleven theme zones addressing various needs of the fashion industry while at the same time facilitating an efficient matching of buyers and exhibitors. Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter is expecting an expanded.  Where more fashion collections of different designs and details will be show cased. Other highlight zone is the World of Fashion Accessories, where a fascinating mix of accessories items, including hats, shoes, gloves, fashion jewelery, handbags etc.

Will be presented to complete looks of different styles.  Two will be Garment Mart, comprising suppliers of reasonably priced high volume fashion, featuring collections of higher quality and out standing design. Other zones include Intimate Wear, Children Wear, Fabrics, Certification & Inspection, which will present quality related services offered by specialists in this fashion week.

Faisol Abdullah a genius Malaysian fashion designer, is making the most luxurious and costly dress of all time by bejeweling it with seven hundred and fifty one diamonds acquired from Mouawad, a jeweler from the Middle East. This 30 million dollars dress has beaten the previous record of a 20 million dollars diamond dress by Chris Aire. It is also tied with a 30 million dollars diamond bikini as the most costly clothing item in history.


This silk and taffeta evening gown is centrally ornamented with the “Nightingale of Kuala Lumpur” which is a 70 carat diamond in the shape of a beautiful pear. Mouawad is a maker of Heidi Klum’s jewelry and is a posh choice for superstars such as Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears. Abdullah has told Reuters that unlike gold and stocks whose price drops, diamond is an eternal material.

The dress is made up of diamonds. They are achieving the incredible reality, as contrary as it may sound. This is a step for moving forward. The cost is totally worth it due to the sheer beauty of the diamonds and the dress. This diamond dress is a nightmare when it comes to security and insurance, but it’s entirely worth. Also Nancy Yeoh who is the chief executive of STYLO said that they have plans to present this amazing dress to royal courts all over the world.

Pitti Immagine Uomo Fashion Trade Show january 2011

These fashion week in Woman’s fashion will be held in Florence from 11 to 14 January 2011, concomitantly with Pitti Uomo 79. An exclusive selection of 80 international brands will present absolute premieres of their 2011-2012 fall winter collections in the Dogana on via Valfonda, next to the Fortezza da Basso.


The collections will be increasingly built around a selection of key items that are distinguished by their quality and carefully tailored details but which, at the same time, have an excellent quality price ratio. The event also expresses the lifestyles of contemporary women, offering a broader selection of proposals, ranging from the world of fragrances to vintage. The layout designed by Oliviero Baldini features a new approach to the space used everything is more open to enhance dialogue with the products and increase their visibility.

Designer Collections is the Pitti W section for projects that best interpret the concept of design research in feminine elegance which, in January 2011, will be focusing on the excellence of Made in Italy. Designer Collections will be presenting an exclusive selection of clothing and accessories created by established designers as well as newcomers who are already known to members of the trade a proposal dedicated to buyers from the most sophisticated and perceptive boutiques.

Hollywood celebrity styles wear in People’s Choice Award 2011

The People’s choice awards 2011 was at the Nokia theater in Los Angele, California on the 5th January 2011. These award in there were beautiful suits and dresses on the blue carpet. Hollywood most popular katy Perry was look like very beautiful in Betsey Johnson dress. She presented at fashion week for her spring 2011 collection. The dress is so beautiful. Katy Perry wear matched perfectly with Casadei fuchsia satin peep toe heels as well and she picked up 2 awards.


Hollywood celebrity in Ashely Tisdale chose to wear a Farah Angsana printed gown. Ashley  her outfit with a beautiful Swarovski bag, Casadei heels and earrings. She would have opted for her favorite Christian Louboutin shoes. Hollywood actress Taylor Swift looked in simple colour dress. Taylor Swift always seems to go with simple clothes and colours. She finished off her look with Neil jewellery and pair of Prada heels.

Kim Kardashian came in People’s Choice Award in a very figure hugging dress. The print of this dress in fabric is really special.  Kim Kardashian also wore a rina limor necklace, Christian Louboutin heels and pair of Amrapali earrings. This is a very classic look for her.
