Himalayan presented the fluid sensuous garments which were made from organic fabrics. They presented the fabrics that were completely aligned to the theme. Wendell had natural cotton line as pleated fabrics and pure silk of the collection. The colour palette matched the Himalayan brand which added to the brand concept. The latest collection was Wendell’s style that pointed to strong minimalistic look that revolved flowing creations. The collections in four appropriate segments and Wendell identified with his characteristic touches.
The dresses were study in innovative garment construction that made Wendell one of the more creative designers in the country. Designer Atithi Gupta also showed special collection for women and girls. There were fabrics that were pleated for panels of blouses and dresses in geometric patches which produced an innovative look for the accessories. They used the silks, chiffon, cotton silk and wool that were little experiment with jackets were asymmetrical and dresses had elongated trails. The voluminous pleated skirts and fluid pants that matched the mood of the inspiration. The black dress with cutwork for yokes that the collection by Atithi Gupta.
Sabha Khan showed the floor length Kalidar Kurtas to lehengas, shirts, lean pants, blazers, fluid palazzos with minis umbrella. Stripes, checks with solid fabrics were used for kurtas, long flared maxis, fluid voluminous salwars, draped pants and all in one sleeve tunics with an extended shoulders choli. Designer Shagufta Quamar spirited the handbags collection on the runway at Lakme Fashion winter festival 2011. They used the very earthy colors as blue, red and bronze, brown, emerald that were more beautiful. Designer showed a variety of shapes for her bags. The fabrics were eco friendly and stylish for the base of the designs. The hand bags were more beautiful.
